You can buy, at any time, "used, good condition" copies of this book, 13th Gen: Abort, Retry, Ignore, Fail?. For a whopping penny a piece. Yep. A penny. Funny, sad, true and telling of the "average GenXers'" attitude toward their own generation, Society's treatment of them and the overall interest in the GenX role in the generational constellation.

It's still a useful, insightful and fascinating book. And, if you're at all interested in understanding generational theory and the modern-day applications of planning, marketing, community building and each and every other aspect of the human condition in America, having a copy of this book for reading and reference is a good plan.

Here's a warning, though, if you're a GenX/Thirteener: This book can be very depressing, as you'll begin to see and understand that, yes, we really did get the short end of the stick. But, you'll get over it. As a fellow GenXer, your survivalist skills and young adulthood alienation has honed you for a life of pretty much any and all challenges.

So come on. Splurge. Spend a penny for a book. Buy 13th Gen: Abort, Retry, Ignore, Fail?
